ASAP

After School Activities Partnership (ASAP) helps schools, libraries, and recreation centers provide fun, enriching out-of-school time activities and experiences to engage, encourage, and inspire youth in Philadelphia.


Attic Youth Center

The Attic Youth Center works to create a safe space, community, and opportunities for LGBTQ+ youth and youth allies. They help shape youth into healthy, independent, civic-minded adults. The Attic provides after school activities, assistance seeking housing or jobs, a space for youth to express their identity, and caring and compassionate adults to talk to. The programs available assures that the youth who participate  are growing and thriving.


Cambodian Association

The Cambodian Association of Greater Philadelphia (CAGP) serves elders, families, children and youth of the city’s Cambodian and Southeast Asian immigrant and refugee community through social services, Pre-K, K-to-5 out of school time (OST), youth development and cultural enrichment programs. The OST program includes afterschool and summer camp for up to 48 students in Kindergarten – 5th Grade. Activities are designed to contribute to the overall well-being of youth through access to services that promote their healthy physical, social, cultural, educational, and emotional development.


Children’s Dental Health

Children’s Dental Health has been providing quality pediatric dental care to communities across the state for more than 40 years. With over 20 practices and pediatric dentists located throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware, they provide convenient access to dental care that is engaging, fun, and educational for patients and parents alike. With the “show, tell, do” method, they help growing patients actively learn healthy habits to ensure a healthy smile for years to come.


Children’s Village

Children’s Village is a nationally accredited early care and education (ECE) and OST provider serving 400+ children aged 6 weeks to 13 years old. 86% are from low-income families, 76% are second language learners, and 14% of school age children have IEPs/IFSPs. At Children’s Village children learn, explore, share, discover, and create in a high-quality program that prepares them for school—and for life. Children’s Village is distinguished by teaching excellence, a comprehensive and holistic framework and its focus on inclusion and diversity.


Elwyn

Elwyn is the source for education, treatment, and support services to children and adults with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and related behavioral health challenges.

Reaching over 10,000 children each year, Elwyn’s early intervention services help children with autism and other differing abilities interrupt delays and accelerate learning.


ESF Dream Camp Foundation

Since 2002, Dream Camp has run year-round OST programming for low-income Philadelphia youth ages 6-18. The mission of the ESF Dream Camp Foundation is to transform the lives of underserved youth through innovative year-long programs that nurture the individual, educate the mind, and inspire the spirit.


Free Library

The Free Library of Philadelphia works to improve literacy, guide learning, and inspire curiosity. They aspire to build an enlightened community devoted to lifelong learning. The Free Library provides an inclusive public space available to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Within these spaces staff provide educational resources, help with homework, English Language Learning, support job searches, and more!


First Up

First Up trains and coaches Early Childhood Education professionals and families, resulting in high quality ECE porgrams and positive life outcomes for all young children, from birth to age 8.


Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run designs programming that strengthens 3rd - 8th grade girls’ social, emotional, physical and behavioral skills to successfully navigate life experiences. Trained coaches use physical activity and dynamic discussions to build social, emotional and physical skills in every girl while encouraging healthy habits for life.

Mayor’s Office of Education

The Mayor’s Office of Education (MOE) provides leadership to improve education in the City of Philadelphia. To achieve this mission, MOE creates policies and programs to:

  • Expand access to quality pre-K for Philadelphia families;

  • Support students and residents through Community Schools;

  • Facilitate collaboration and partnership among many stakeholders to strengthen the local education landscape; and

  • Advance key educational policy.


Mighty Writers

Mighty Writers teaches kids ages 3-17 to think clearly and write with clarity so they can achieve success at school, at work and in life. Last year, Mighty Writers reached 3,300 students. They focus on reaching many more kids in hard-pressed neighborhoods all over the area because for them, the clock is ticking. Tomorrow is today. It’s why they focus so intently on getting kids on their road to glory now.


PEAL Center

The PEAL Center works with families, youth and young adults with disabilities and special health care needs to help them understand their rights and advocate for themselves. PEAL empower families and individuals to be included in their home schools and access high quality, coordinated physical and behavioral health care. PEAL’s services are provided at no charge to families as they are funded by private donations and federal, state, and private grants.


Prodigy Learning Center

Prodigy Learning Center presents a unique early learning environment designed to educate and care for young children, and also reduce the stress of their parents’ hectic lives.


Rock to the Future

Rock to the Future provides student-driven music programs in a safe and supportive environment at no cost for Philadelphia youth.


SDP FACE Office

The Office of Family and Community Engagement (FACE) is dedicated to creating and supporting partnerships among schools, families, and community. As a central resource for family engagement, FACE strives to engage and inform parent leaders and families as essential partners in helping students achieve academic proficiency, and college and career readiness.

SDP MAC Center

The Office of Multilingual Curriculum and Programs (OMCP) oversees curriculum and programming for English Learners, bilingual schools, and World Language Programs. As part of OMCP, the The Office of Multilingual Curriculum and Programs helps multilingual students and families navigate the enrollment process.

Settled Seeds

Settled Seeds is an early childhood consultant for families of children entering preschool through third grades looking to find the best fit early childhood or elementary program for their child in the Philadelphia area. Families who know that they want a quality early childhood program but need help with program philosophies, resources, financial aid, or extra-curricular resources would come to Settled Seeds for academic consulting to help inform them of their options, narrow down choices, assist with admissions process, and more.
