GreatPhillySchools

GreatPhillySchools provides free resources to the Philadelphia community in service to our mission. Our resources include this website, K-12 school print guides, bi-weekly email newsletters, and school fairs.

In developing these resources, we focus on what families want or need to know when choosing a school. Policy-makers and school leaders use all kinds of data in managing schools and systems. While much of this information is publicly available, it is often presented in confusing ways. We present this information so that you can more easily research and compare schools.

GreatPhillySchools is presented through the collaboration of several nonprofit partners, led by the Philadelphia School Partnership.

Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia

Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) is a privately-funded program whose mission is to provide children from under-resourced Philadelphia families with financial access to quality, safe, K-8th grade, tuition-based schools, thereby increasing their long-term economic and social success. CSFP grants need-based, partial scholarships through a random lottery. CSFP currently serves more than 5,000 children enrolled at over 160 private and parochial schools.

CSFP focuses its scholarship support for under-resourced children in the foundational elementary and middle school years, and is the most broad-based and diverse K-8th grade scholarship program in the state.
